Spring Chick Challenge ~ Week 2 Goals

As the first week of the challenge nears an end, I’m wondering if the scale will be my friend come Monday morning when I weigh in. I sure hope so. But who can tell with these things. I know that I was successful at completing my planned work outs. Well almost, I have not yet touched the treadmill today so I still have to get my 6 miles in for the week. I’ll get to it later today or perhaps tomorrow. One of the side effects of adding strength training into my workout routine is that my legs are still killing me from the Wednesday squats. Killer! The area that concerns me is my calorie intake. When I reviewed my calories for the week over at myfitnesspal.com it seems that I’ve been under my net caloric requirements. I’m thinking that this is going to have a negative impact on my weigh in, but I suppose I’ll just have to weight (no pun intended) and see.

Overall I’m pleased with my performance this week.

By the way below is a picture of me in my favorite jacket…it’s kind of tight! Sidenote: I’m loving my weave…it’s so freeing to be able to workout and go. Wet hair pulled back into a ponytail is not a hot look! Well hot mess, but that’s not the looking I’m going for these days.

Here is what I’ll be doing next week…pretty much a repeat of week one.

This week I’ll also be focusing on eating more fruits and vegetables.

What are you doing this week to achieve your fitness goals?

  1. I love your workout chart. I need to increase my workout time. I feel like everyone is smoking me. Great jacket and its gonna fit just right in no time. Have great week…

  2. You’ve done great this week! I have a couple of jackets that I’ve not been able to wear in YEARS- now, they double around me! Guess I’ll have to buy new ones. LOL

  3. You are doing a super great job…I like the pic with the jacket..I think I am going to do that so when the outfit really fits and I look HOT in it…I will really know.

  4. Cute hair & great goals:-). I love fruit but find that I don’t get it in as much in the winter…. even though Winter is the season for one of my favorites, the pummelo!! I should set myself a goal involving fruit & veggies to, I’ll have to think about for next week:-)

What do you think?
